Information on the Master's degree program in Business Mathematics

  • Recognition of examination and study achievements:

    Recognition of achievements in mathematics: You fill out the appropriate form (which you can find here ) and come to me with the form and the documents about the course (content, scope, grade certificate).

    Recognition of achievements in economics: You go to the page with forms of the Faculty of Economics and fill out the online form under "Application form for all those enrolled in a KIT-WiWi degree program". The respective module coordinator is responsible for recognition; the form is then forwarded to the Examinations Office of the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics.   • Extension of the processing time for Master's theses: The Examination Board for the Master's in Business Mathematics has established the following procedure for extension applications:
    • The extension (max. 3 months according to SPO) generally runs via the Examinations Office for Business and Economics (Mr. Hilser).
    • For this purpose, a form must be filled out online in the WiWi portal at https://portal.wiwi.kit.edu/; name of the form: Application for extension of the processing time of a thesis (WIWI)
    • The written consent of the responsible examiner is required; it is sufficient to upload an e-mail with the examiner's consent.
    • If the extension has been approved, the Examination Office for Economics will notify the supervising institute and the student by e-mail to the student's KIT account.
